fiebig+team Named Avaya Platinum Business Partner Again
Frankfurt am Main, September 19th, 2007 – Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, has once again awarded channel partner fiebig+team "Platinum status." By doing so, Avaya has renewed its ongoing cooperation with fiebig+team and together with its Platinum partner will focus on the high-growth Communications-Enabled Business Processes business segment. Avaya has cooperated with fiebig+team for over ten years and recently selected the Frankfurt company as Avaya Business Partner of the Year 2006 in Germany.
Avaya offers its sales channel partners three different partner categories: Silver, Gold and Platinum. Based on a point system, partners gain certification at a given level with a wide scope allowed for specialization and choice of product area. Sales and service technicians working for a Platinum-certified business partner are required to have highly detailed product skills and expertise. Intensive, product-specific training offered at the Avaya University provides employees with expert knowledge. In addition, as a Platinum Business Partner, fiebig+team is measured based on how successfully they sell Avaya products and the quality of their sales and distribution infrastructure. Avaya and its Platinum-level partners form strategic partnerships and jointly provide support to key accounts.
