CeBIT 2005 in Review Fiebig+Team calls first-ever CeBIT presence with Avaya Tenovis a complete success

From March 10 to 16, IT and telecommuniations companies created an upbeat outlook at the Hanover, Germany based CeBIT trade show, creating a mood of confidence with outstanding numbers turned in for 2005: more specialist industry visitors, more decision-makers, more contacts, and even broader international representation. At 6,270 (2004: 6,109) there were more exhibitors than the year before. Worldwide industry growth of 4.3 percent forecast for this year signaled a long-awaited turnaround of the global IT and telecommunications market. With 480,000 visitors, the CeBIT trade show had stable attendance.

The proportion of visitors from industry rose to a record 88 percent.
Given these figures, Fiebig+Team’s first presentation as part of CeBIT was a complete success which exceeded all expectations. At the Avaya Tenovis stand—Fiebig+Team’s strategic technology partner—the core theme showcased was Performance & Workforce Optimization in Call Centers. With a special focus on “enhancing efficiency” with CTI middleware and the Avaya Interaction Center, the topics highlighted were a strong draw to trade show visitors.

Additionally, the successful strategic partnership of Fiebig+Team with Avaya as its first and only Platinum Business Partner in Germany was further intensified and communicated to those attending the show. This match-up first began in 1996 and both companies have jointly completed over 150 customer projects successfully, including more than 50 call centers.

We feel the 2005 CeBIT trade show did full justice to its reputation as the world's leading exhibition of this kind. We feel the trade show presence will produce positive results based on the large proportion of competent, well-prepared specialist visitors we saw at the stand who were willing to invest. We had many high-level specialist interactions and were able to generate a large number of new business leads.
