OSPC Switching and Information System for
Avaya Communication Manager

The well known switching and information system from Avaya/Tenovis Integral is now also available for the Avaya Communication Manager, allowing integration of external databases and offering comprehensive cross-media information

Known from Avaya Integral I55 (former Tenovis I55), fiebig+team offers OSPC, the PC based operator application for the Avaya Communication Manager. OSPC allows the integrated linking of the telephony with customer data (e.g. VIP customer) and internal employee's information as free / occupied, present and absent, meeting or vacation. OSPC allows faster, competent, individual service comfort for operator, receipt and secretariat.

OSPC for Communication Manager includes:


Integrierted phone book

OSPC includes a comfortable, integrated phone book with more than 40 fields (name, number, department, room, building, home address, secretary)

  • alternative interlocutors

  • customizable fields

  • Search all fields

  • email address with automatic opening of the e-mail software

  • Integrated link to Intranet / Internet pages


Integration of presence and absence information

Presence and absence information, which is available in in Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes can be integrated into OSPC

  • Vacation information is available before switching

  • Information is shown in participation properties window, in the integrated phone book and the busy display

  • Calendar information is available before switching

  • Calendar status can be activated directly from OSPC UI


Extensive busy display

OSPC offers extensive fucntions for busy display:

  • Busy display includes phone number or name

  • Zuteilen und gehende Verbindung (Zieltaste) über die Besetztanzeige

  • Monitoring of up to 2.000 users (in blocks of 100 or 200)

  • Optional network-wide busy display via CTI server AES (AES TSAPI licenses required)

  • Further links to other sites with CM servers over LAN / WAN possible

  • Flexible assignment of numbers, more than 500 participants possible

  • Call re-routing is signalled, also destination numbers (switchable)

The use of OSPC offers two types of connections. In IP road warrior mode, the transmission of voice and control takes place over a PC application / softphone. This mode requires a USB headset. In IP telecommute mode, an additional terminal is required for voice transmission.


System requirements

OSPC can be used with release 3.1 of Avaya Communication Manager or later.
